Congrats folks, we are ranked 100 now.  Not bad, considering the late start.

We have some members that show little activity.  If we could nudge those folks to develope their city more, our ranking would improve. 

Instead of clearing out all the resources before laying down buildings, I would suggest that folks place buildings where they can and delete a few resources at a time during the night.

Also, make sure you use the map noted in the tips thread to help you design your city for optimum resource production.

Agreed, that's how I proceeded, now I have no more resources in the way and my city is progressing well...

I probably should have done what you suggested Damis. Luckily, I've finished clearing the resources in the center of my city and around the harbor area and I can lay down my buildings now.

anyonwe with sufficient rights could you please kick the member lordrednek? its my friend from work who isnt going to be playing much and his score will just bring down the entire rating of our guild

I'm concentrating on deleting resources while I sleep except in those rare cases where I run out of resources to build.
