I lost my poor Lama 20 minutes after I bought him. Stupid thing wondered off while I was chopping wood or it was stolen.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave

safely in a well preserved body, but rather to

skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting

"HOLY SHI* .... WHAT A RIDE !"

hey I moved my mining operation to minoc, to avoid all the thieves in britain.

didn't see any of you around.

even logged on to vent.

more than half way to being able to place a small house.

I'm also moving to Minoc to avoid some of the ding-a-lings...

So far I have only made like 2200 gold so need to get my backside into gear.

Booker, I have been on every day/nite this week, typically in the UO channel at the bottom of vent.

Alexander / Damis and Vessa have also been in game, often.

Cheers

I think he has Vent, the fact that he plays on a laptop may limit his vent usage as it can be a bit of a resource hog on lighter rigs...

We also have a mumble server, which would work better, it is in the test phase but is stable and uses much less resources.

Need a character with which to get gold together, in order to buy a house, then its all good...

You can have 5 characters total, per account.

Nice. I didn't know any of us were playing on this server. I had been watching it for awhile, but wasn't sure about the funky ruleset. I will have to try it now. I'll be on later tonight.

Heya Grim. Not too bad. I have a four day weekend starting tomorrow, so I should have a lot of time to play UO and Rift. I can macro my UO character while I play Rift. lol

The server population is quite high. I have seen it range from 1600 - 1900 people.

It was at 1417 people at 3:30am Pac time.

Currently it is over 1600 people.

The Razor program that they have you install to play on this server has a great internal macro program. :yahoo:

I used to play on another really good classic UO server (uosecondage). Their population is around 600 or so, not bad at all, but nothing close to this. UOSecondage sticks to the 1999 ruleset strictly though.

Edit: Yea, I've always used the Razor macroing tool. Works great. I'll be a macroing fool the next week or two. lol

Guys, I am so close to being able to place a small house.

I have I think 23k saved up and the cheapest house is 27k. I have seen placed houses selling for 23k.

would anyone be interested in starting a chapter here? because if we want to we could all go in on a bigger house, or we could get a guild stone and a house?

up to you guys.

getting a spot close to a mountain for mining would be best imo. then we get an anvil and a forge and we have a resource sight.

I am certainly up for starting up. Though my time will be very limited for now as Rift Launches today, that and I am a horrible grinder so I am dirt poor still.

I am mostly ingame so I can pop peoples pimples as they attack Grim's pet George.
