Stealing is Fun!

Back in the old days, I had a thief character, in my stable. It was always a blast while stealing from other characters or rares from the game itself.
Well I ran the macro program that Booker helped me configure to raise my stealing and got to a base of 64.9, over nite, very cool indeed. I went to the thief guildmaster npc and forked over 500 gold and I was in.
I decided to start off with, to try something Booker suggested. I found a colored robe on the ground, which resembles the ones which the mage merchants wear and walked to the nearest mage shop. Next I just stood there for a few minutes, awaiting my victims, muahaha.
First victim arrived, I took a could of stutter steps, trying to mimic the regent vendors, moving ever closer to my target. I snooped his backpack and grabbed at that fat pile of gold, SUCCESS!, he didn't seem to notice that his wallet had been picked...for a whopping 2 gold. OMG, i risked death at the hands of a guard for that measly amount? Oh well I figured I should try again.
Second victim arrived. Again I move towards him, mimicking the npcs silly walk. Opening this fellows backpack, I noticed that he also has a nice fat pile of gold. I stuck my hand into his pouch and SUCCESS! grabbed some of his loot. This time I had grabbed 145 gold, yipeeeee, much better.
I decided that I had better secure my loot as would not be attackable by two people. I ran to the bank, hid and dropped my new found wealth into the bank.
I must say, this character is going to be one of my favorite. When my thief is fully trained, he will be a force to be reckoned with.
More adventures to follow.

Best steal ever was a 10K check why they were carrying it I had no idea I had to lock pick my way 3 boxes deep to grab it but they noticed when it was gone . They yelled guards of course nothing happened I laughed at them they attacked and I called guards since they hit me first they were gray to me so once the guards zapped them I got free loot on the corpse.
Do me favor if they ever add the ability to design houses to this shard do not tell me, I can't start playing this game again

I've been complemented on my blending in with the mages at the regent shop, from the person that I stole from to being told I wasn't worth the effort from someone I stole from and had managed to bank the gold before he caught up to me at the bank, then chased me for awhile and gave up.
Tho this game is one of the oldest, it is still the best game around, In my opinion. It is very addictive and its hard to run out of things to do.

I have had my llama trained in the arts of stealing training assistance. He helps me to improve my skills, in order to steal with less of a chance of getting caught and also to allow me to steal more and heavier items.
He is my good friend and will never call the guards on me or kill me. I wish players were as nice as my llama, after I steal something from them.

You should get a disguise kit, it allows you to change your hair style and gives you a name that an npc would have.
I stole 1000 gold in 2 steals last night from some guy afk at the bank.
I feel bad, and then good... and then bad again, but still kinda good. lol.

It isn't the more glamorous place to learn, but it serves the purpose.
