It seems that there are two schools of thought for developing a typical thief.
The Dexer thief and the Stealth thief.
It looks like the thief I have in training is more of a combination of the two and I am wondering to myself, if I should go for more of the standard template over mine.
With my template, I will need to carry heal and cure potions. With the other templates I would have to carry either bandages or regents.
My Template:
Strength - 100
Dexterity - 100
Intelligence - 25
Hiding - GM
Macing Skill - GM
Snooping - GM
Stealing - GM
Stealth - GM
Tactics - GM
Magic Resist - GM
Dexer Template:
This template forgoes the safety of recalling away for standing up to marks with the possibility of a kill that nets you all of the mark's loot. Macing is the generally preferred melee skill, due to the value of the stamina drain effect.
Strength - 100
Dexterity - 100
Intelligence - 25
Anatomy - GM
Healing - GM
Macing Skill - GM
Magic Resist - GM
Snooping - GM
Stealing - GM
Tactics - GM
Stealth Template
This template works best for someone totally focused on stealing and getting away with the goods unscathed. Hiding and stealth aid in getting close to the chosen mark, while magery, magic resist and wrestling allow a safe and quick escape.
Strength - 100
Intelligence - 100
Dexterity - 25
Hiding - GM
Magery - GM
Magic Resist - GM
Snooping - GM
Stealing - GM
Stealth - GM
Wrestling - GM
Decisions, Decisions...
