I was using the Logitech G330. They sound very good and transmit well over Mumble and Ventrilo. The only short coming I had with mine is that they broke regularly, where the flat metal slides through the plastic part of the headset in order to adjust the fit.

What I ended up replacing them with, is the Logitech H530. This headset also sounds very good and works well with Mumble. The main reason that I moved to this headset is because they are more sturdy than the G330 headset.

I am pretty hard on the headsets that I use, so need something that is very durable, yet has a great sound and mic quality.

Thanks for the recommendations. I ended up getting the Logitech H530s (USB), and I was able to use them in Mumble last night. I had to spend a few minutes tinkering with the settings. And it's working.

My setup, has me cable TV's audio going through a line input (or is one of the mic inputs? I forget) on the back of my computer. And I did have an analog head set that plugged into the front mic input. So all the sound from; cable TV/computer was coming out the speakers or my Sennheiser headphones. But either the headset, or the front analog mic inputs stopped working, and was becoming a headache to troubleshoot. So now, for some reason the cable TV audio comes out my speakers only while when using my USB headset, the computer sound comes out of that. Which, is fine and works for me.

Usually when front audio jack stops working its because you have turned on a setting in audio realtek? settings that is detect front panel jacks if thats on normally most don't work with that on. Also there is a setting to make front and back separate so you can have speakers connected to back jacks and headset on front and used for sounds from dif things
