I am pleased to announce that our new Mumble server is up and running.

I wish to personally thank our donators for making this possible.

While we have time left on our current Mumble server, we would like to start moving chapters over to the new server. The primary reason for this is to stress test the server as well as allowing us to finalize the rule sets.

Currently there will be no entry restrictions on the new Mumble server, to facilitate the ease of the move (unless we begin to get unknown morons invading).

The following is the simplest way to add the new Mumble server to your server list.

1.) Have Mumble running.

2.) Click "server" at the top left of the client.

3.) Click "Connect".

4.) Click on your current CotP server.

5.) Click "Add New" at the bottom right of the server select screen.

The "Edit Server" box will pop up.

6.) Change the label to the name of your choice "CotP - New", for example.

7.) Enter chi.eoreality.net into the "Address" box

8.) Enter 64791 into the "port" box

9.) Click "OK"

10.) Click on the new label, that you made in step# 6

11.) Click "connect"

12.) A certificate pop up box will appear, answer "YES".

13.) Move to the channel of your choice and enjoy the new server.

The picture below is an example what your new Mumble server setup should look like.

Is there a "move over" date set?

Considering Grim spammed this in every single section of the forums, I'm guessing he wants us to do it today. Posted Image

There is no specific time frame, but we are registering people on the new server as we speak.

The move from Ventrilo to Mumble took around 2 weeks, as we have Mumble installed already, this move should go much faster.

The channels in the old Mumble server are slowly but surely being removed...

The reason that I posted the info in so many channels is so that no one could say that they didn't see it. :D

Didn't see what? :) Jeepers hopefully when i get my new headset will be able to join mumble as it is it crashes things here on me. The headset has its own sound card is why i think might be able to get in mumble once i get it without it causing some programs to crash like it does now.

That is another reason that using the forum name is part if getting registered.

Also, if your IP would have matched, it would have been easier as well. :)

Well you are welcome to change your forum name to Dorenidus if you wish or use [Knight]Broxulous(Dorenidus).

Either way works. :)

But I haven't seen you there again, I jump out of World of Tanks occasionally to check. :P
