Guys,

Yesterday a new online strategy / warfare / base building game came out. Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliance. I tried the game yesterday and I think it's rock solid. I'm currently on US World 5. Would anyone be interested in forming a chapter here?

A new Command and Conquer is now available to play. Phenomic has begun the open beta for a free-to-play MMO called Command and Conquer: Tiberum Alliances.

"Players harvest valuable resources, foster strategic alliances and engage in relentless battles as they strive for world domination," says Phenomic. "With in-game news and status feeds, players get frequent updates, creating a completely interactive and dynamic gameplay experience that has gamers strategizing, reacting, and adapting on the spot."

Command and Conquer is the first game in the series to support cross-platform play. Players will be able to play the game through web browsers, smartphones, or tablets. Cloud storage for saves will enable you to start the game on one platform and continue it on another.

Alliances is set in C&C's "Tiberium" timeline. The Brotherhood of Nod and Global Defense Initiative are fighting over a mysterious resource known as Tiberium. While Tiberium is an amazing source of energy, it also has dangerous side effects. It has warped many people into Forgotten, deranged mutants that pose a danger to both factions.

I was just chatting with a few members the other day, that I wouldn't mind doing another RTS game, as long as it didn't take up too much time like Lord of Ultima ended up doing for me.

The time sink doesn't look as bad so far. Takes a long time to get a 2nd base, or at least it seems. It Doesn't look like you will have to manage 30 different bases. Let me know what you think. If there's interest I'd rather start our own thing than have to join another alliance/clan.

A few friends at work just started playing this Saturday. However, there is new server that just started today, so i think I am going to give it a shot on the new server.

A new server opened today, so I am interested in getting a bunch of people to try it out. We just need to pick a faction.

My understanding is faction doesnt matter on alliance or reletionships, but I could be wrong.
I am playing on 31, seems you can only be on one world at a time, I am with a good allianc ethat has the basics down( grease monkey scripts, etc.) so I rather not leave them, but I am only a day invested so it wouldn't be to bad if I restarted.

yeah i have a good amount invested .. im lvl 12 .. kinda sucks if u only can have one world...

What ends the game and restarts the process? I don't think I have the stamina to play a long game like Lords of Ultima again.

Can you have different Factions in the same alliance?

u can have different factions on same alliance. i have a gdi in my faction. well yeah i will play if someone can test for me if i keep my old world.. and have new one.. dont wanna lose 12 lvls lol. and damis the first 2-3 days u play spend a hour or so on and then u can just come back and check it . .Basiclly what it is is u want to collect special resource packs when they fill. once u get to m lvl i check it 3 times a day then i upgrade buildings attack (on last visit) and im done about 15mins on last visit

big thing is when we pick area make sure we all pick same spot so we can be close.. we can move after but easier if were closer.. our bases have defense support to cover each other after enemy players attack the first time but have to be in 8 spaces. (i think its 8 i know its not alot)

yeah, the moving to my alliance is killin me on this server.

I would love to have a chapter, or at least see if there is some interest. I wish I had time to help manage it but I took a few classes this summer and barely have time to play games.
I just found out you can play on multiple servers, you just click on change server on login and you will find old servers/ or new.

Maybe get an interest list going and jump on the the next new server?
