I'm looking for an FPS/Battlefied-like game with a solid offline bot mode. Something with good graphics, but not the latest and greatest because I don't want to spend full price on something I fire up once in a while to scratch a shooter itch.

Any thoughts? I have battlefield 2, but it didn't like windows 7, 64 bit. I'm also a bit more interested in sci-fi...but that's negotiable.

UT2004 hands down the best for FPS its old but its fun as hell and has bots to play against

and super cheap

I second Futon's post above - anything in the Unreal Tournament series would be great for that. I played CS for years, but UT still holds that iconic spot for the "nostalgic shooter that is still fun to play".

I would skip Unreal Tournament 3, or whatever the newest one was called. UT2004 is the best of the series (In my opinion ofcourse) and is still played online, mostly by some sort of super FPS players, but its the only game I can say I have killed the worlds #1 and 2 in the same match.

Counter Strike has a decent bot mode, but be prepared to carry the team hardcore, or get killed instantly, the bots are a bit iffy like that.
