Yeah the Sylvari look really cool. Obviously there is still time to mess with races during the BWE, but at this point Sylvari will be my first choice for my main.

Well, hopefully I can make it to this Beta Event, but my nets capped (MAX Download speed is about 12kbps) so its a bit iffy.
Can't wait to start an Asura, the Sylvari look a bit derpy, especially the mushroom hair and glow in the dark, but I'll wait to see them ingame myself before I pass judgement.

yeah as far as pvp goes i guess race doesn't matter since racials don't work in pvp and prob never will so its for looks i guess:) well and pve they may help

Hamunces, sylvari also have different hairstyles available ( i'm assuming) just like every other race. I sure wouldn't want to look at a mushroom head all the time lol.

I have to say, from what I've seen thus far in endgame gear (while playing instanced PvP) - the Charr Warriors look seriously awesome. Lots of spikes and general "ass-kickery" going on with the Char armors.
