Please all join me in congratulating Nanulak on his recent promotion to Sentry in COTP! Nanulak will be helping us out as we get ready for GW2 launch later this month.

Nanulak will be joining his fellow Sentry and Knights in the Covenant Parliament. A gathering of Sentries, Knights, Elders and Guardians that work together toward creating the highest quality of activities and events for our membership.

Many of us have known Nanulak for years, for me I've known him since our days in Rift last year. He is dedicated to COTP and we finally convinced him to commit to helping out with GW2 in a more official role. We'll see if he survives...

Again, congrats Nanulak!

Is sentry a new rank they added while I was away?

Is sentry a new rank they added while I was away?

The relatively new Sentry rank is defined as follows: "A Sentry is an in-game officer who is tasked with supporting the Chapter and following the directives issued by the Chapter Leader."

Thus the Sentry rank is the first step into COTP Leadership, and unlike Knight and higher ranks it is specific to the chapter that the person is in. Sentry is also now a requirement before the Knight rank. More information will become available with the Sentinels/Guardians of COTP approve the updated Charter.
