We will be conducting a stress test on Thursday, August 9 from 12:00 Noon PACIFIC Time to 4:00 PM PACIFIC Time.

The stress test is open to anyone who has pre-purchased Guild Wars 2.

We will be actively working on the game during the event, so you might experience connectivity problems or discover features that are not working as designed. Any issues you experience are a result of the rigorous conditions of the stress test, and are in no way representative of the state of the game at launch. By participating in this stress test, you’re helping us make Guild Wars 2 a better game. Thanks for your cooperation—we’ll see you in-game! ~RB2

Actually got in at 12 PST selected character and hit play. POOF I was dropped. And now I cant stay in more that 2 minutes before I'm dropped. I think what they are testing is my patience

I got to log on and play a little bit around 3:00pm~ 3:30pm PST. I had been starting the game earlier this weekend, to patch it. And for the tiny bit I played on Jade whatchamacallit, it was fine.

I got in after watching the 3 Jamaicans win the final 200m olimpic race and played quite smooth.
Lots of fun!

Ah shucks, can't make this one. Got to play for about an hour yesterday (I had never played before...) and holy shnikeys what a fun game. Ran my warrior around shaemoor and just went from event to event. Didn't even feel like I was questing, just fought waves of bandits, a reckless bull that got out of his pen, and escorted a guy trying to save his cocooned friend from waves of spiders. Simply awesome.

Here's to hoping I will Megamillions tonight since I am going to need the extra time come 1am 8/25 lol.
