This is a cheap and easy way to get minis that are ready to paint upon opening, little to no assembly, and much more durable.
The kickstarter is well past its goal, but they keep adding more free minis. At this point the best purchase is probably the Vampire level now sitting at 133 miniatures for $100 bucks.

I've painted on the bones line before. The detail is very good, and it holds paint very well. I didn't even have to prime the mini's before I started.
They have a whole bunch of extras you can add-on for if you want... steampunk dragons... giants... demons... etc..
