Firedancer
Hi folks, not sure you noticed - but you can now convert (almost) all your stand-alone ships to LTI ones at literally with no additional cost.... Its just three steps you get LIFE TIME INSURANCE FOR ALL YOUR SHIPS! RSI currently has this tiny thingy up for sale: The P72 Archimedes Further, as announced for the Anniversary Sale, all ships will be re-sold: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/15067-AnniVERSEary-Sale-Kickoff So what you can do now: - melt your existing, non-LTI standalone-ship into store credits - use the store credits to buy the mustang - wait for: Friday, November 27th – Sunday, November 29th: All Previously Offered Ships on sale! - go to the ship upgrades menu and convert your new mustang into the ship you want / previously had. ==> with the upgrade, the LTI is retained and you're now proud owner of an LTI ship the way RSI currently hands out LTI makes it look like freebies and I'd not be surprised if insurance disappears from the game altogether... nevertheless if you have a ship without LTI, it seems stupid not to convert it now! DISCLAIMER: there's a few cases, where conversion doesn't work: - you can't downgrade in Value... so won't work on e.g. Aurora ES - the Mustang isn't a package... so if your ship is in a package, you risk loosing game access by melting it. This is especially true for packages with physical goodies. - Limited ships are not being resold, so you can't convert a jump or phoenix that way. - its real simple process and I'm gladly available to help you if needed - but don't blame me if you mess it up, I can take no responsibility for any damage caused ADVERTISING: If you want to buy additional ships, check here first: Star Hangar offers many ships below RSI cost.Check especially the ships marked as 'store credits' which you can melt and use to buy whatever you want... This can save you quite some cash as opposed to purchases directly off RSI.
