Aztos
It says there's no lots available, but there's just the town lot you own, Bendarek. Edited February 3, 2016 by Aztos
Bendarek
Soo as a dynamic PoT, everything is flexable. My bank was loaded when i logged in, 280 some items because i have all the different lot markers, all the different NPCs for the town, all the npc buildings etc. That being said, let me know and i will place you a lot where you wantz, we have a large island so we can have a very tight nit town setting or we can spred out, the total square cant exceed our towns size. Also need help figuring put what npc/npc building to lay out, i have all of them but can only place one at a time

Bendarek
so i just checked out the handy dandy "homes merchant" and he is selling a village lot deed for 250,000 gold, town lot deed for 400,000 gold, city lot deed for 800,000 gold. he also sells a basic list of houses ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 gold, looks like the 10,000 are for row homes, 20,000 for the village, and 40,000 for the town. let me know and i can toss out the homes merchant or any of them it looks like, but can only have 2 NPC's down at a time. Spryone
Hello Ben, I made the run to the Isle. I do Love the location too. Not far from the mines for adventures into thier depths . I have two village lots I would love to place side by side on the isle. Just let me know where. Some lots with a view would be great if possible. Did we all want to be near each other? I was going to use one of the lots to put down the crafting stations as I purchase them with one of my smaller houses for storage and indoor crafting. I will see if I can still get a house at one of the towns that have the mail deliveries so anyone making a run there can use that house as a guild house. CotP Guardian Grim Posted February 10, 2016 CotP Guardian Share Posted February 10, 2016 Does this town have a name or do I just have to enter every town around that area? Cheers Grim

Bendarek
Sorry im out in the field this week, ill be home this weekend to continue working on the town. Lifedragn
Are lots free to place up to the town limit, or do we need gold for them? Or does the gold only come in at the deed stage?
Spryone
I believe you can purchase lots in game for an amount that the PoT owner sets as the price. Otherwise you can by them ingame at the NPC Deed Merchants. And place them with the PoT's owner's permission.
Lifedragn
I think the POT owner has to define where lots are, and their size (which determines eligible deed types)
Bendarek
I have a bag full of plot types, just let me know what type and where and ill toss em out. Now that the final wipe has happened, ill get the PoT setup again. How many row/village/town lots should i start with?
Lifedragn
Wipe is tonight still. So don't do it quite yet! Though that is a very good question which will ultimately probably depend on how many people we have playing and how much space we have to put down. I would like to eventually hold a village lot in the CotP town. But I have to get there through gold, so it will be a while before I can afford it! What were we working with? Holdfast? Hamlet? Larger? And what lot sizes are going to be in use already, such as for yourself and other known players? Bendarek
Its a holdfast, i think spy has a town or village, i have a town and row, not sure who else has what. So still room for a couple towns or several village and rows. Now that they have released the property tax info im glad i got tax-free deeds. Lifedragn
Hmmm... I might suggest... 4 Town Lots, 10 Village Lots, 12 Row Lots As a starting point. At least if I am assuming the proper math. I think that should offer a spot for everyone to have something in the town - I don't think we have that many people starting in the chapter. No more new player towns are popping in, but if we have a growth spike, we could try to take a collection to purchase an upgrade as those are still on offer. Spryone
Yep I will feel the pain with 2 village lot deeds but of course that's no problem if I could only make the 3600/hour like they were claiming you can make. I am happy to make 1.5 k for a whole night.
Lifedragn
That's the strategic decision between melting down weapons for metal scrap vs vendoring them off.
Bendarek
I dont think they took a look at the whole population, if you average the hardcore vs normals the rent cost is scewed towards the hardcore hurting the majority of players. Hopefully they keep a close eye on it and adjust when they see they set the bar too high for the normal players
Lifedragn
I think Row lots are pretty obtainable, but still high. If they set Row at 250/day and brought the others down a price tier I think it would feel about right. My hodge-podge unoptmiized build was able to pull in 2-3K an hour at 3 Skull scenes. I think the issue is that they are aiming houses at characters who have reached the end of the current progression. 5 Skull players may be able to pull in the kind of numbers they mention, even the casuals. But it takes so much longer for casuals to get there that many probably haven't experienced that level of play. I think they are also wanting to place it at a difficulty curve where people are tempted to throw CotOs at it. For me... the barrier is going to be the initial gold cost of a deed. Do not presently have the expendable cash for a cash-shop deed, so gotta go in the hard way. Edited July 28, 2016 by Lifedragn
