Dansker
I looked at a couple of those sites hoping it was in game gold they were soliciting as I was making a good amount, but they were asking about $130.00 for 1 raid run, no way I was paying any amount of real life money for a raid run, much less a ridiculous amount like that. Anahlia
You're better off looking in-game rather than on the internet for sales runs if you want them for gold instead of $$ - the whole reason why the people selling for real money conduct business on external websites is so they can keep their against-ToS activities out of blizzard's chat logs. The disadvantage of paying with gold is that you generally have to have gold on the same server as the guild you're getting the run from, so you can pay them. So if you're on a small server without a lot of progressed raiding guilds, it can be hard to find a run - or you have to transfer money between servers, which will cost you real money anyway (character/guild server transfer depending on how much you need to move) so it can be a lose/lose situation. Game Fossil
Many years ago, during either Vanilla or BC, I started a second account and bought a powerlevel-to-max-level service from a "Chinese Gold Farmer" company. Let's just say that even all the way back then, it took Blizzard two days to determine what was going on and squelch it right then and there. Lesson was learned and I never even spoke with "Real money vendors" of any kind ever since. Blizzard's had all this time since to study how these people work, and I doubt that much gets past them. Take it from someone who learned the hard way: Don't do it
