Erudius
In short, it's not the size, it's how you use it. Hoping BioWare will be able to stand on the shoulders of games like Witcher III and Horizon Zero Dawn that were able to embrace what an open world is and make it alive with encounters and quests that affect the open world you play in.This could of course require the use of 'phased areas' or it could be used like Recon Wildlands did and leave the quest there, but able to be joined by others who have already done the content. I'm partial to the phased option as it would allow for other encounters to appear there as well.OOOOOOOOH... several daily areas that rotate encounters across the world would keep the world breathing. Phyreblade
They seemed to imply the storms are "instances" of some sort. But they've also been adamant the world is "open" to multiple players at a time. I'm curious if they'll include something a bit more than their standard 4-man arena-sorta pvp they do typically in their games, mind you. But the whole notion of 4-man at a time could mean the "open world" is limited to your 4 guys at a time, too. I'm just not sure yet.
