  • Deck Question

    Since coming back to SotA, I have been messing with some deck theory crafting.  I am curious how many cards people run in their decks and how many locked slots you use.

     

    I currently do not have any locked cards which works for me but I am curious to see what others are doing and how they like their decks so far.

    I think I have 66 cards with 5 locked slots. I still am tweeking as I learn more how to play and use the deck when I am soloing. In a group I use the same deck but stay out of combat if the group is more than 2 of us normally to heal.

    I originally would stick exclusively to a fully unlocked decks. With the new charge up system I'm currently fully locked but I'm still experimenting with unlocking for combos. I'm thinking I may not unlock ever again

    Thanks for the feedback on your decks.  I currently use 5 completely unlocked decks.  My main trees are Polearms (spear), Light Armor (leather), Shields, Earth, Sun, and Life.  (I also have the must have passive skills in the tactics and focus trees as well)

     

    I always have a close combat deck and a ranged combat deck set as either equipped or alternate.  I have a similar pair for fighting undead.  My 5th deck is a combination of ranged with mostly healing spells when in a group that needs a healer. 

     

    I generally prefer voice coms, I just keep forgetting about the discord channel.  I will try to remember  :lazy3:

    No pressure on Discord. Just love to have more people to yap with. Per Spexs suggestion I've started to have my alternate deck be a full buff deck. I also always carry a potion on my non combat deck as my oh s$i$ button.

    I'm Hybrid. I've got Ice Fist, Ice Arrow, Searing Ray on 1,2,3,4 with Discharge on 3,4 as well. 5 I have Ice Shield, Douse, Blind, Healing Touch.

     

    Locked:

    6 - Dodge

    7 - Evasion

    8 - Deflect

    9 - Defensive Stance

    10 - Soothing Rain

     

    I haven't updated since the heat system was added, but it certainly helps power up those defensive ones I only need once and a while.

    Hi, all.

    I have a hybrid deck for ranged combat. Doing this from memory do may have some spell names wrong...

     

    1. Dash, locked.

    2. Snare, archery, locked. 

    3. Have defensive spells stacked, one each. 4 total.

    Fortify Defense

    Glancing Blow

    Parry

    Earth Embrase 

    4. Healing Grace, locked.

    5. Heal, self heal only, locked. 

    6. Arethic Feedback. Locked

    7. Blinding shot, Locked. 

    8, 9, 10 all same

    Aimed shot, 5 each

    Rapid fire, 5 each

    Piercing Shot, 5 each

    These are set up to stack off my mouse. 

    I have between 17 and 19 in my deck. This is so I can keep a high density of offensive spells to defensive spells.
