Administrators Damis Posted February 19, 2009 Administrators Share Posted February 19, 2009 I used to incorporate the Call of Cthulhu in my campaigns. I have never ran a pure Call of Cthulha game, but I my Rolemaster campains are usually dark and gritty so the Cthulhu scenerios used to fit in nicely. Killercod
We've got a 4th Edition D&D campaign going on right now, don't see any reason why we can throw this into the mix somewhere... You might have to put some work into getting some material out there for people to use in case they don't have the books, but...

Administrators Damis Posted February 20, 2009 Administrators Share Posted February 20, 2009 You really do not need anything unless you are going to run a pure Call of Cthulhu game. Since you are running D&D, I would just suggest that you read some of the Cthulhu modules and stories and incorporate what you like into your campaign. Keep in mind that most cthulhu stories are dark and most do not offer a happy ending. They are not your typical D&D "rescue the princess" or happy Elf stories. My group was fine with the Cthulhu stories because I run dark campaigns.
Seppuku
I actually have never played D20. I like the 100% system Cthulhu uses. D20 just has too many variables.(don't know why I put 6)
